Ringing in relation to a "not at fault" car insurance claim I'd made in the last 12 months. I haven't made a claim and the address they tried to confirm is at least 5 yrs old. Sounds like a scam to me.

He knew my first and last name. Said he was from "a Compulsory 3rd party insurer", he was ringing about a "traffic incident" I was involved in. It sounded dodgy as so I hung up. Lots of background noise, like he was in a crowded call centre.

I have had several of these SPAM calls about a road acident. Both to my Mob & landline.

Had this number call, knew our last name. Don't give them any details. They are calling saying they are from "Motor Vehicle Aftercare".
