Caller ID appeared as "Google." As per one of the messages above, the caller claimed that it was about an NBN installation I had booked. The person (obviously from an Indian call centre) used my first name in her introduction. I replied that it was not necessary as I knew about the process and the information was available on-line. The person then said they wanted to check that they were speaking with me and gave my full name before asking for more details to confirm my identity. I hung up. From two previous experiences re. NBN connections, I am wary, as these seem to attract a lot of weird communications from Indian call centres which make it hard to know whether they are real or bogus.

Caller: Claimed to be nbn but couldn't provide my correct address or any other information Claimed to be nbn but when they wanted to confirm my personal details it was all wrong then they asked for me to tell them my info. Refused and ended call
