Hang up when answer, then if you call back one ring, then it drops out. An auto dial machine just confirming if numbers are connected.

Don't get it!!! register with do not call and still have on average 4 to 5 calls per day. Sick and tired of charities!!!! They are the worst of all.

Absolutely sick and tired of these calls. I've now decided NO MORE PHONE DONATIONS. I'm obviously on a list of sucker who have given in the past.

Hung up prior to answering. Called back and did not ring just disconnected. search results came up with www.NationalMercantile.com.au Debt Recovery Specialists - search of the internet site shows number in Victoria not Sydney. Very weird. Dont have any debts to be recovered, don't owe anyone. Hmm.

Got this call answer it claim they from rural fire service asking for donation i said not interested naturally they suppose to say thank you for ur time and hang up.... no when i said that he keep pushing did not say thanks for ur time nope he said look we can pay later or do payment plan geez i said it twice no thanks no thanks then got idea said thanks for your time

Just rang 1300 886 067 the RFSA and complained about how many times I recieve this call, they have now put my name down on a DO NOT CALL from the RFSA..Hope this helps everyone.

I am fed up with the calls, I answer it and no one responds and then they hang up, then goes my mobile with the same thing hapenning.
I have rung the number with a recordered message stating it is the RFS fundraising and to hold on the line if I wish to donate..Well I only wish to stop these nuisance calls. It is an Australian on the recordered message..
I will not be donating to a call centre ever again.

Same as everyone else, I have a silent number which Ive never given out as I use mobile for incoming & still they call.
So its either telstra that gave out the number or they use a random number dialer

Install a number blocking app and gradually add nuisance numbers. One ring and the app kicks in and drops the call. Works for me!

was getting at least 8 or 9 calls like this every day. went to telstra shop and purchased a TELSTRA CALL GUARDIAN HANDSET from them. no more nuisance calls at all

Rural Fire Service asking for donations. I have ask them to remove me from their list but they keep ringing. I have purchased a Panasonic Cordless phone that has Cell phone link and call barring which will fix them.

Might as well be a prank call, rings, drops out, no answer. Annoying as heck!

Serial pest. Rings, drops out before you can answer, Now have caller I.D. so completely ignore, at the stage where if we don't know the number we don't answer.
