Once again like so many others, no answer on pick up. This is the second of these calls in the last day. The first was actually two calls within 25 mins. from a Queensland number (07) 5647 4258 so watch out for that number also. I spoke to Police Assistance Line about these nuisance calls & they said all they could do was refer me to the Scamwatch website to report the calls. I also reported it to the Telstra website for reporting such calls. Waiting to see if either one actually does anything or even reports back.

I didn't answer, however please be careful. The rural fire service NEVER call for donations!! THIS IS A SCAM!!

This number has called me several times. When I answer, they hang up after a few seconds. I called back and the phone rang twice then a message "All our agents are busy at the moment. Please hold to be transferred to any agent". Suggest to everyone to block number.

As with everyone else, fed up with this number calling and hanging up. Problem solved. I've blocked them.

Don't answer these call anymore. This number calls mobile and within minutes call landline no message is left. Now blocked on mobile. It is non stop....

Calls numerous times throughout week, never leaves messages. Scammers. I ignore these sort of calls all the time. Nuisance calls.

Actually the RFS DO call me regularly for donations. I always instruct them to send it out by mail as I won't give my credit card over the phone

These people never give up on phoning. The phone rings you pick it up and there is no one on the other end. It is so annoying. Please stop calling me or I will report you

I routinely Do Not Answer any call to our landline which is unidentified. If they really need to contact us then they will leave a message... I was most interested to read the various comments above about the number in question; these callers obviously have nothing better to do than waste not only our time, but theirs as well...

First time they called. Hung up but called back a few minutes later and said they were representing the Rural fire Service and wanted donations to support them. Told them I am retired and have no income then he switched to selling lottery to help them. Asked him what doesn’t he understand that I don’t have any money to help anyone. Now this number is marked Do not Answer and blocked

I have had 6 phone calls from this number since the 9th Feb, I have never answered them and they have never left me a message. They call my business number - very frustrating.

Rang my mobile then my landline straight after, will block on the mobile as happens every few days! Annoying!
