Got a call from this number, a woman asked me my name and I confirmed it was, then she hung up.

I have now registered with DNCR.

Bezz It's a bit hard to do that when all they do is call and hang up. Again and again and again......

3 calls in 15 mins, they is no one there when you answer. so over it..

The people behind this number keep calling, at all times of the day, evening and weekends and they NEVER leave a message but keep trying. How do you stop them from calling!!!

I just had the same experience as Brett. So now they have confirmation of my name, will they stop calling & hanging up when I answer (happens 2-3 times a week, last night 4 times!)?

They just called me and I was busy so sent the call to message they left a message and called back, sent to message again and they left another - To note each time they do not say who they are. I rang the number back and says from modern where I need to leave a message - no way would I ever use them after years of these type of calls I wish they would just buzz away. Talk about bad customer service.

The call just hangs up when answered. It is very time wasting and frustrating. It drives me mad!

it's a call centre for companies such as the Modern Group, who phone every couple months, with typically two calls within the same week. Give them a false name and address and tell them you just given the new phone number last week, so as to get your "real" name out of their database.

for some reason this number keeps ringing me about a minute after i get home from work atleast 2-3 times a week. Dont bother calling back as they will not answer

I got a call every few hours from this number plus faxes too. So annoying. Don't tell them anything. When you do get them on the line just leave them on hold.

I to am receiving these calls and when ring back they wont answer. You can google no telemarketing registra and fill in the form online and this will stop all these calls on both home and mobile numbers.

HAHAHAHA.... u r smart eh? I speak perfect english! and as i have said before they are doing nothing wrong other than calling people to offer their services? OH and they must be doing ok Business, because they have been established for over 25yrs?????

I have had a few calls from this number (88182377). I have phoned back but, no answer, and the ringing sound is not normal.

Got a  call from this number today and I missed it. I called it back bit no answer. About 30 min later the number called me again and when I answered the call I got noise in the background I side hello and 2 or 3 times and then it someone hung up.

THanks everyone,I am got a missed call from this number yesterday and today. I coudnt pick up yesterday but when I picked up today there was no answer. I tried call but it just keeps ringing. I will make sure not to call back or pick up.

I have had several missed calls from this number.Its strange since not only is my number private and unlisted, but has only ever been given to family members.
