Know this is classed as a Charity but most annoying .. I donate regularly to my Local RFS and will not give to any other area until ALL of the money donated by Aussies after the recent major fire events has been used. I don’t disagree with it being used for training & equipment however, that was not the only reason money was given so freely and all the other areas we are now being asked to donate for AGAIN.

NSW Rural Fire Service Association (RFSA) selling Raffle tickets.

The RFSA has been representing and supporting the members of the NSW RFS to protect the NSW community. Your raffle ticket purchase will assist in providing:
· A grant scheme that helps many Brigades improve the level of their amenities and member welfare,
· Member support including meal options during large fire campaigns,
· The sponsorship of training and learning events,
· The provision of scholarships for relevant educational courses,
· Financial assistance for counselling, chaplaincy and family services; and
· Long term sustainable benefits for members

Support NSW RFSA a worthwhile cause. I donate every year.

Like the previous commenter. I, too donate regularly, in my own time and to my own budget. I am astonished how many times I have,albeit reluctantly, blocked the number, and another one pops up in its stead.Curious about the +61 ....Where are these calls originating? Genuine calls from within Aus are not preceded by the +61 area code.
