Called me at 1440hrs. When I answered, the call was disconnected. From Bankstown NSW. Robo call, seeing which random numbers are ‘live’, maybe for future overseas call-centre scam artists? “I’m telling you…”.

Caller: Purported to be Telstra NBN Talked about upgrading NBN to ultra fibre optics starting tomorrow and wanted me to check speeds via anydesk.com. Did that but they then wanted me to download 'a code' from another site and put a 'technician' on to guide me through the process. I hung up at that point and printed off NBN scam advice page. Will report phone numbers involved. Scam.

Caller: Claimed to be from Telstra Told me that my IP address had been compromised and suggested that I do a few things which I didn't do as I knew they were scammers. i don't even have my Internet with Telstra!! Defintiely sounded like an Indian call centre. I hung up then got 2 immedaite calls from a cairns number (07) 4225 4450 which I gather was from the same people using fake numbers. Surely the Government and Telstra can work together to put an end to these scammers.

Getting daily calls from random numbers. My phone flags them as spam so I don't answer, and going by the above comments I'm glad. I block the number and then wait for another call a day later. Very annoying

I Answered and a robot said "Your visa has been charged $900" - I hung up immediately as I know it was a scam

Caller: Scammer Pretended to be eBay security and wanted to confirm a transaction made "by a person in California". I asked how I can verify her identity, she offered to give me her employee number and when I said yes, she subsequently hung up the call.

I didn't answer, preferring to check out the number here As suspected, reported as a scam call so I've blocked the call
