Scam

Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

Caller: Said it was EBay

They said there was a purchase against my eBay account for $400, was it me, if not they could help me cancel the transaction blah blah blah

Scam caller

Pretended to be from Telstra and that there were issues with my internet - when I suggested she was a scammer, she hung up.

Scam caller, said that he was from the do not registar

Scam call

Caller with a heavy accent advised they were from the Commonwealth Bank & that a charge of $400 was placed from USA on my account. Wanted me to give them Netbank details & when I refused began raising his voice telling me that I was not co-operating so therefore they would just go ahead & allow the transaction to proceed. Definitely a scam !

Called said they wore from America anti scam center watchn accs saying they traced my iP address told me my email and phone number said to write down the iP address of people who scammed my accs

Caller: Scammee

Female robo caller said she was from Visa Card Mastercard and there was.....I hung up at that point. Same scam call as before though from different phone number. No such company - they are two separate companies.

didn't answer when they rang, but rang them back, recorded message said mailbox was full and couldn't leave message, from other comments sounds like a scam

Caller: Ebay apparently

They said there was a purchase against my account for $400, was it me, if not they could help me cancel the transaction.
Checked pending purchases on eBay account and nothing there.
Asked to ring them back and they said I would be charged to cancel then hangup.

calling from the "Technical Department" about a "wifi issue". definitely a scam
