Called from Bankstown. Claimed to be NBN and wanted to talk about the internet asking for my name and details, but I don't pay for the internet. Definitely a scam.

So sick of dodgy calls. Telecommunications really need to sort this.

The location shows up at Bankstown. When I answered the call, I said nothing - the caller was silent and then an automated female voice said "Goodbye" and hung up.

Caller: Philipino accent claiming from CBa mastercard

Stated my name and asked if I was that person and then said he was from mastercard and then from CBA about a suspicious transaction. I have no mastercard. Obviously a scammer fishing. Sounded like he was in a busy far away call centre.

Said it was about commonwealth bank, implying that my CBA credit card is disabled or some sort. Immediately knew that this was a scam since I never use CBA, and I only use debit cards from westpac. Blocked this number, don’t fall for this crappy scam call. Btw, I had tried calling back, but all I got back was a female automated message, saying “the number’s mailbox is full and could not accept anymore voicemails. Goodbye” and hung up. Very strange number

Had a call from this number after already getting 2 scam calls in 5 minutes from other numbers - dodgy as!! I answered straight away saying "is this another spam call", she said "no maam this is Sheena I'm calling from Telstra". I'm not with Telstra so decided to play her game & pretend I was interested, she then hung up on me. Definite scammer

Do NOT be tricked by these heartless scammers. They are trying to get your information and eventually steal your money.

Caller: Probably Scammers

Received a call, didn't answer. They left a 12 second message of office sounds and a guy clearing his throat, I don't think he was sick, sounded more like a post-spicy food throat clearing.

Called 23rd Feb, tried to tell me my modem speeds were slow even though I don’t have wifi at my house lol. They claimed to be NBN and said they’d install fibre optic cable for free if I joined their service.

Scam - Amazon asking me about my order.
I don’t use Amazon ever, never have. But they did have my name correct.
