Hung up when answered

Caller: Man with a sub continental accent

NSW caller claiming to be Telstra when I'm in Melbourne. He said Telstra is a national company and my modem is failing. He wanted to do some tests on my line. He became very assertive and sounded fishy so I said goodbye.

Caller: man claiming to be from NBN upgrading sytem

Said he is from NBN and as they are upgrading their system in our local area our NBN is going to be off for two hours tomorrow and their technician will be coming to replace our modem, cables etc. Then asked for us to log into "anydesk.com.au" so that they can "upgrade our system". When I questioned his identity he gave me a fake employee number and handed me on to his so-called supervisor who then said he was from Telstra and tried the same tactics - he got cranky and hung up when I queried his veracity too. Clearly a scam and if they are getting people to log into anydesk they are definitely out to rip people off by hacking into their system.

He said: I am to inform you that you are being hacked & there is foreign addresses in your system.
I told him I didn't believe him whereupon he swore with the most foul language for 30 seconds then hung up.
That call now blocked.

Another one from a nsw number, no one there.. I don’t know anyone in nsw.

Scam call, do not answer.
