Rings then hangs up

These people ring five days of the week and its very annoying, if you answer no one is there. Have been wondering if its possible to have this no. blocked.

Stop calling - I simply will not answer your number.

After at least two phone calls a day for ages, I have just rung and asked to be removed from their calling list. If they keep ringing, I'll be ringing them again, but won't be so polite

Hangs up immediately when handset is picked up

This number auto rings me everyday around 11:00am and when I answer there is no-one there!This has been happening for the last 2 weeks and I would like it stopped.I have tried ringing this number and get no answer.

Sorry, just saw Greg's reply about the magazine subscription too. I think they are using a computer system to automatically dial but it hangs up if none of their operators are ready.

We were constantly being called while overseas, very annoying.Rang the 1800 number and they were happy to remove us from the list.See if it works.Thanks Joanne, good investigation.

This number calls and never leaves a message.

This number has rang me 2 days in a row on 2 separate occasions now.

First on the 15/08/11, I answered, just beeping noises and they hung up.
2nd on the 16/08/11, I missed the call, no message.
3rd on the 22/08/11, I answered, just beeping noises and they hung up.
4th on the 23/08/11, I answered, just beeping noises and they hung up.

So it would be good to know, or stop, if this these calls are sinister.
