I don't think it's a scam.
I have had to ring Virgin up lots of times before, and everytime they ask for my name, phone number and pin. If i can't remember my pin, they ask for my birthdate.
I got called today and missed it and am now upset coz i could use some extra credit!

I got a call 5 mins ago and didn't answer it. No voicemail was left. Virgin did have a promotion going that if you register and recharge during December you get an extra 10% credit..maybe it's to do with that?Shouldn't have to give them any details though

same here ,its been twice and same time on both the days.I missed it.

I ended up giving my details.. but then my brother told me to change my pin right away... but they had already changed it.. I managed to say i forgot my pin and change it again but yeah don't give your details these guys are so dodgyIf your credit card details are on the site you can get majorly screwed..

Had the same call, could not call back as the number is disconnected. Do not give out your online password as they should not ask for this. It could possibly be a social engineering attack.

Or is everyone on here either optus/virgin.. Im with Virgin.
