I got a call, but left it as I was on a bus. I tried calling back, but Optus informed me that the number has been disconnected.
They just tried to call, and I would've answered if I wasn't reading this page at that exact moment!
If it is Virgin Mobile, why do they need the password? The info should just come up on their system.

I got a call to my mobile from the same number today. Called back and it said the number was either disconnected or unavailable. Does it mean it's a nuisance call?

same here ,its been twice and same time on both the days.I missed it.

Had the same call, could not call back as the number is disconnected. Do not give out your online password as they should not ask for this. It could possibly be a social engineering attack.

Or is everyone on here either optus/virgin.. Im with Virgin.

Glad I googled this.  I have had multiple calls from this number around the same time of the day as someone else reported.  It has been this month only, July. I am at work during the annual call time and so I have missed it everytime.  I call back and it says that the number is disconnected.  From what I read on this site, it does sound like a scam or hoax...nothing good... Thanks for the comments guys.
