This number keeps on calling and when you answer a recording says thank you for contact us.  What is going on?

I called 138000 and explained the situation, the lady, was very nice about it and understood my concern, she explained that despite the fact I have never dealt with allphones they are doing this 'work' on behalf of optus when contracts are nearing expiration.

After telling her I'm not interested in anything at this point, she took my number and name and said she would remove me from the call list.

Always received missed calls from this number.

I with Optus and have received these calls from Allphones.  Email scott at Allphones to get taken off their list and tell him you will not be doing any business with Allphones.  Maybe they will get the message.  Dont blame your phone company as this is an Allphones marketing technique.

I got the call yesterday and I went along with it as I knew the plan I wanted anyway I logged onto my account today and it seems everything has changed and not to the plan I had agreed to over the phone.I'm very worried what is going to happen from now as I have a feeling I have no way of getting out of it.

My contract runs out very soon with Virgin and I received a missed call from them. I cant remember if it was all phones I went through but I guess it was.
