They said there were a number of transactions on my master card amounting to $1800 Tried to convince me it was not a scam. They wanted to cancel the card and get a new one. I hung up

Called and didn’t say anything when I answered and then hung up. Called back and number doesn’t go through. Concerned it’s a scam using a local number.
