Same old, same old "Google", they have called our business several times before, when will it end 🙄

Asked to speak to authorised person - I had suspicions and said not available at the moment.

They provided the following phone number to call back: (02) 8607 5103.

Caller: Ria

Will call relentlessly and claim they are from google maps to update your interior business view, they will try to ask for payment upfront

Tried calling saying they will take photo's of our store for Google Maps.

FYI Google never calls to charge for services, and will never promise improved SEO results for anything. Complete scam.

(02) 8607 5103 called wanting to update the google listing and provide 360 view and wanted to charge AUD 550. I suspected SCAM and hang up.

Called 8th November 2021. Just kept asking for the owner, if I was authorised to make business decisions and informing me she was from Google relating to 360 phtots.

Caller: Georgia from Google Maps

Georgia called today at 3pm and wanted to update my google address and tell me about 360
I asked her what for? and said I couldn't speak now so please give me your number and I will call you back.
She then hung up on me - SCAM!

Caller: Marie Google Maps

A Indonesian woman named marie called saying she was from google maps and wanted to organise a 360 degree view inside our store as they were updating our listing. Requested more information such as the date and time they were looking at organising the street view but she just ignored my questions. I managed to get her number saying the owner may be interested but she initially called on an anonymous number. We will not be contacting this company as it is very much a scam and I recommend the same for others.

4th call this week from the same number. Caller says they are from google maps and would like to organise a 360 degree inside picture of the business. When I said no they hung up. Tried calling the number back and it goes to a message service.

Google wanting to update our listing, told her no thanks. Then called back 5 seconds later asking the same questions again and I was like umm we just spoke and she quickly hung up.

Scammer for google but not associated with google as will not leave details.

Caller: Not Google.. however they said they were

Google maps wanting to update listing as well as arrange a 360 degree view inside building.. When they asked me for my details, I replied if you are from Google you would know the answers to those questions.. they hung up...

COMPLETE SCAM, HUNG UP ON ME WHEN STARTED ASKING TO MEET UP IN PERSON TO DISCUSS GOOGLE CRAP.

Calling from “Google Maps” to update our company profile on Google, include 360 degree photo of the premises. This is just another spam advertising/marketing business trying to update SEO. Said they’re Calling from Sydney

but she doesnt know exact address. SCAM and she put me on HOLD

Same as previous reports above. Said they were from Google and wanted to arrange a 360 view of offices for $500.

I got this call today and they said it`s $550.
