Caller: Fake Chinese Embassy WARNING: This is the famous scam currently active in Australia, where a scammer says they are from the Chinese Embassy and that the receiver is in danger, to turn off their phone, stay away from home for a few days and not to contact Police or family. The scammer then calls your relatives after a day to say you have been kidnapped and demand ransom.
