Caller: 'Bank representative'

This person called to say my bank had detected a suspicious transaction made out of my bank account, and that they had halted the transaction (but that it could only be held for a short time period - red flag). I was then directed to another Australian based laneline number for further 'assistance'.
This second person may ask you to check your card CVC in the app vs your physical card, and may ask you to download a remote access software (Zoho Assist) to 'help' you 'fix' the CVC and 'upgrade your security settings'

The message when I picked up the phone - was that they were from the ANZ bank, asking if I had made a request to debit my account for $1200. Press 1 if you don't authorise this money, press 2 if you want to authorise.
Sounds like they have copied a recording from a bank. The number is not an ANZ number. This is a scam!

This is really annoying - block one number and they just use another - (02) 8552 5383; 8552 5364; 8552 5368 all saying from ANZ - I DON'T HAVE AN ANZ ACCOUNT AND I AM GETTING REALLY SICK OF THIS SCAMMER
