Got a call from Scammer Paul says from paypal which he was not, wanted to check about a $399.00 payment that had gone through which there was no such thing. Iasked him to tell me my name He then said I could be a scammer, When i arced up and told him he could be the scammer he hung up . Be careful

Actually notified by an authentified email that my Paypal account was hacked this morning, called Paypal verified number spoke with Richard from Paypal who called back on the above number seemed a bit odd but he sent through loads of verification codes throughout the process..... account now closed

I have been getting spammed by numbers starting with 02 8551 (including this one). First one was Saturday night at 7pm. Hung up and then have been hammered by calls since, as well as from unknown numbers. All scams purporting to be Paypal. Paypal will rarely call unsolicited. Hang up and contact them if you're worried.

Scammed

Said he was David from paypay. He knew my name. Said he was calling as he had stopped a suspicious paypal transaction from Germany for antivirus software. Strong indian accent. Obviously a scam

Claimed to be MIke from Paypal customer service regarding a pending payment to McAfee. Definitely a scammer so best hang up immediately.

I received two phone calls today from numbers starting with 02 8551 (this is one of them) pretending to be the Pay Pal customer service number. Clearly scams.

Claimed to be David from PayPal and that there was a pending payment of $500 again my account that was a scam. Talk about a pot calling the kettle black. When I asked for HIS number so I could call him back, he didn't know how to answer and hung up. Becareful out there people.
