Caller: Female caller This call showed as coming from Sydney, NSW. When I answered, a female caller with an Indian accent told me that she was from the security department of Visa and Mastercard and that my card had been used for two suspicious transactions, one on Ebay for $350 and the other on Amazon for $700. I replied that these were legitimate transactions that I had made myself, after which which there was a short silence, then she sounded somewhat confused a said "really?" after which I wished her a pleasant day and hung up. Definitely a scam attempt.
