Someone with an indian accent asked if i had made an ebay purchase for a $499 gift card. I said no and they hung up. I hadn't made an ebay purchase for months and when I checked there was no transaction on my ebay account so it must be yet another scam!

Called me. Said I had made a large purchase on Amazon and believed my account had been hacked. I was online at the time, checked and no purchases had been made. They made some ridiculous excuse. I hung up on them, they called back asking why I'd hung up. I hung up again! Scammers

Said they were from Telstra and there was an issue with my internet. I told them I didn’t have internet with Telstra. Oh, we know you don’t but as you know we have internet Australia wide.
But wait, you said there was a problem with my internet with Telstra??
Hung up and blocked the number.

Picked up and was dead line but when I said 'hello' an automated voice said 'goodbye' and disconnected. Number blocked

This number Called me at 5pm on a public holiday! … as Mr T would say…Fools. I knew it was dodgy from the date and time of call. Didn’t pick up. No message left. hahaha. blocked.

Im calling from Telstra about the IP issue on your internet......
