Nuisance caller - called a few times and hungs up at an answer. Dialling the number gets a hang up no answer

Call centre back ground noise and an man claiming to be form Telstra telling me that something was wrong with my internet and has been compromised and was at risk of people getting in to my computer and stealing information. I told him that i would rather a stranger get my info than giving it to a scammer from a call centre and he hung up.
