Female caller with Indian Accent, Claimed to be commonwealth bank, saying they saw a suspicious transaction to USA to a David Miller.
After confirming no such transaction or person is known by me then proceeded to claim my internet connection is Public not private and that is how the hacker has got in, will transfer me to their supervisor to deal with the problem. At this point I said thanks for the warning I'll go ahead and take the necessary steps now. The tried half heartedly to scare me with "this is a very serious call for you sir" when it was clear I was happy to chase this down withhout their help she hung up quite quickly with a "well dont blame us then"

The number (02) 8550 3308 displayed on my iPhone on 13 June 2025. I don't normally answer unknown callers, unless I am expecting one. I let it ring to voicemail and the caller actually left a message.
The iPhone transcript for the number (02) 8550 3308 recorded the following on my voicemail: "The artificial service press one for English press two for Chinese Neha. I need to ****. I don't have you and I need to mention hello when you receive this call it means that you have missed an important notice from Australian government. Please select the button to the artificial service press one for English press two for Chinese. Donation for you and I need to..."
The end result: I blocked the caller.
