I did not answer but vm said it was in relation to security information check, so definately fraudulent.

Caller: Automated message Automated message purportedly from Telstra saying my contract would be terminated. I don’t have a contract with Telstra. Hung up and blocked.

Interstate call (I am in Victoria) from someone not on my contact list, with no voicemail. So far, all such calls from Sydney over the last few years have been spammers.

Probable scam call. Didnt answer the call and it went to vm. The automated system left a message to text which said "This is a confirmation call from me Bay. We have received a purchase request of $299."
Common eBay scam call that goes around.
