I missed a call and called back, but the call was not able to connect so I suspect this was a spoof caller (where a foreign caller will impersonate a local number). No other issues with my phone service connection this afternoon, before or since trying to call back. I would advise to not answer this caller.

Had call from same number. Then 101 recorded message, educated male voice said from Ebay saying I had purchase of $900 in gift cards. Can't remember what they said to do the cancel the payment. This call came in at 2am so they are idiots. Got similar call from educated female voice the other day, can't remember what it was about, different landline number. Are they hiring actors to sound like us now? And leaving voicemail? They are sure giving whatever race they are a bad name.

It left a voicemail, which begins with a robot voice that says "Please press 2 for Chinese services...". This is a spoof caller trying to scam immigrants.
