Called and left no message on answer service. Maybe scam?

Caller: "Australian Energy"

Called about 2.15pm was a young Asian sounding man with call centre noises in the background. Stated he was from Australian Energy" When I asked was his Mum proud of being a scammer he hung up !

I told him what he could do with a very large garden gnome.,

This caller claimed to be from some sort of adult health support group. I told her that I get several calls like this every week and I wasn't interested, told her to have a nice day and hung up. The same people had called me a few days earlier and reached my message bank, without leaving a message. I strongly suspect it was a scam attempt.

If they call on a public holiday (Mon 10 June) - its a scam.

Rang - no message. Rang back nuisance caller

This call showed as coming from Sydney, NSW. I had missed the call and the caller left no message. When I called the number back there was no answer, just a loud ongoing sound of static noise. I would say it was most likely someone setting up a scam of some sort.
