Probably a scam. A long silence, than nothing.

Caller: Claiming to BE Telstra

Said my IP Address was sending illegal data or something. Then asked me if I knew what IP address was, and I said yes, and immediately hung up.

No message so called number & got this recorded message, "Optus advises that the mobile number you have dialled has been disconnected."

They have rung twice today, I've not answered and they haven't left a message. Definitely dodgy.

the moment i asked from which company they were calling from he cut the call. Tried calling back and call can not be connected.

Called me at 2pm. Looked like they were going to leave a message but didn’t. I don’t know anyone in Sydney so I suspect it is scammers.

I got an automated scam call from "Commonwealth Bank" within 5 minutes of making a transation via Good Guys. Haven't had any scams for ages so I'm suspicious about their payment system. Stay vigilant and talk to elderly family members, Friends!

Tried to tell me that he was from Comm Bank and checking on a transaction that I made. Clearly a scam as he could barely speak English and was calling from a call centre with a lot of background noise.
