This is one of a series of numbers - all in the series 02 8524 59xx used by the Rural Fire Service's fun-raising arm. Or the company the RFS uses for fund-raising. Sadly they do not respect requests "not to call" and I can only suggest you write a letter of complaint direct to the RFS if you receive continual unwanted calls from these numbers.

Like the previous complaint, I have told the Rural Fire Service Association not to call us again. They have repeatedly agreed to remove our number from their mailing list - of course this does not happen. my husband is a volunteer firefighter and we feel he does enough for the RFS cause without donating funds!!

Me too, often said take us off list to no avail

silly me thought it would be nice to support them by making a donation. but soon after they call you several times a week!!!!!!

Worst decision i made forever

Did not answer. I rang back & got this message "You have missed a call from our fundraising department. We will call back later

They have repeatedly called me, over the years, even though I have told them I support the Locals ! The local RFS informed me that NO MONEY from the telemarketers EVER goes to them !
It is a shame, while the wonderful firies volunteer their time to saving our country, these fraudsters are taking money that goes into their own pockets !!

Its a SCAM number. Do NOT give a cent.

I get calls from this number around 7.00pm but when I pick up phone, line is cutoff. When I ring the number, I get 'call could not be connected'.
