I blocked this number after calls yesterday but calls are still coming through. Is this app doing it's job?

Desperate Origin Energy retention team trying to keep you after switching away.
Never ever go with Origin. They are so big that they cannot help you at all if you have an issue. Their connections staff and managers literally are useless. Mistakes are made, you get forgotten about, no follow up, no phone calls back and in my situation, was left homeless for nearly 2 weeks with no power in metro Adelaide. I paid 2 weeks worth of air bnb just to get by because of Origins mistake. And Even while knowing that they've done this to me, they said they could not tell me when or where. They said they could not even call the contractor that does the installations, that this stipulating was part of their contract.

So, I called their contractor and found out the information myself. It was absolute total BS they we telling me. Never sign up with origin, never return to origin, burn in hell Origin.

left a message on my voicemail with a continuos beeping sound. Now BLOCKED.

Called Origin to complain about spam calls. Guy on the other end claimed this number is allegedly not actually associated with Origin. If that's true then I guess this is a scam on top of spam.

No answer . Continuous beep tone.

very persistent, picked up once, long delay then heavy Indian accent with call centre background noise.

The call me constantly, multiple times a day for weeks. I'm sooo sick of it. I never answer and they never leave a message so I've blocked the number.

Should’ve taken care of us as a customer BEFORE we switched!

No message - Origin increased our tariff so we changed suppliers. 4 weeks later they are still ringing every couple of days trying to keep us as customers. Before we changed we gave them two opportunities to match the new supplier. They wouldn't budge and now they want us to change our minds! Not a chance you bloody parasites SO STOP RINGING ME!!!!

I'm changing electricity providers for a better deal. I expect they were calling to try and keep me as a customer but they didn't try too hard because when I answered their call, they disconnected the call.
