Caller: Transport NSW I was contacted for a ‘refund’ as I travelled during the travel free period November 2022. A government agency calling from a nuisance number, having all details of my XPT trip details, claiming she needs my VISA card details to refund my first class upgrade. The lady even gave me the option to call back, for peace of mind… giving me this number: 132 212 … that isn’t Transport NSW.

Caller: Claimed to be Revenue NSW Called my mobile and my friend's mobile saying we have penalty outstanding for $11k on our previous company car, some sort of demits in 2021. They said they have photos of the driver, they asked for my registered address, the previous registered mobile, and a current email etc. I had my contact details changed to email long time ago so it couldn't be this long they couldn't contact me. They said they will send the email - haven't received any so far.

SPAM. The people above who are saying it is a legitimate number are probably the spammers themselves. This number keeps ringing me and ringing me and none of the agencies that spammers have listed above are anything to do with me.

Caller: "No buisness name required, please remove as spam lable" Thankfully they left a voice message. It was nsw fair trading. It seems like (02) 8503 9897 may be the common voip number that all outgoing NSW department of Customer Service calls get routed from.

Called my mobile number three times, no message left. I tried to redial but “due to temporary service difficulties unable to connect call at this time”. Annoying and spammy. Blocked.

Caller: NSW Trainlink I didn't answer the call, then received a text message 'We have important information regarding your booking with NSW Trainlink, please call 13 22 32'. I didn't have a current booking so was initially suspicious. The number however matched to the listed number for NSW Trainlink so I called with my last booking number from November 2022 (7 months prior). Was informed that my week of travel had been declared a free travel week in November and I was entitled to a full refund to the card used on the booking. Legitimate call.

Caller: they say the Revenue Australia in Engadine Called to say we owed them 4000$ for the quarantine we were forced to endure in august 2020. The thing is, we are completely in the clear, we had booked (and then flight was canceled due to cancellations of aircrafts (Air New Zealand) and then rebooked well in the time the Morrison Government had guaranteed that Aussies did not have to pay for any quarantine. So a woman called us today on mobile, she didnt address with my surname and also not my husbands but said that * we were in breach of not paying 4000$* and that now things were given to a collection agent. I eloquently told her she was completely wrong, we had no outstanding debts, we have paperwork to proof. Then the line was broken and she did not call us back. We have no idea who she was, checked this number just now but can not find on reverse call so reporting here. Scam call? (called numerous times this number, has been engaged all afternoon).
