Some guy trying to find out who to speak to about "shipping logistics" and they didn't want to give any details about themselves and very pushy to get info.

If they are legitimate service and wanting to do business then introduce yourself and answer the questions we ask about them.

The guy on the phone is an idiot and best to give them the run around.

Absolute rude so-and-so. I sussed out that it was a marketing call and I asked what it was regarding so I could give the despatch manager a heads up.

Not worth our time so I left him on hold and he hung up.
If you're going to ring to try and make a sales pitch at least be polite about it, otherwise you'll get nowhere like you just did, you twit.
