(02) 8488 4922 says they are telstra and to push 1 to confirm order. Rang telstra they know nothing about it. It's happened on home phone line and daughters mobile which isn't with telstra she blocked it on her mobile. I'm going to see if I can block on my home phone

Telstra call from the Philippines.

It is telstra, it is their annoying automated system and at times it just rings and rings and rings again, day after day after day....week after week. I have spoken to 4 people at telstra now asking them to remove my mobile number from the numbers to call on my account. They are phoning me to tell me I can't get an ADSL upgrade (until NBN comes out) and they are calling every few days to tell me this. I have spoken to humans and as much as I would like faster internet - I really don't care two hoots to hear that I can't get it for ?? months or maybe years. I don't need them to keep phoning me to tell me the same thing. The poor accented call centre staff don't need to hear me complaining about it every time I ring the 1800 number with my mile long reference number. This has been going on for over a month and so far the only satisfaction I have had in the whole debacle is typing this sad post!! - so thankyou for that.

claim to be Telstra about a problem with order and tell you to ring 1800 550 849 and quote a very long reference number. I have checked with Telstra and it is definitely a scam and is probably coming from overseas (using the (02) 8488 4922 as a relay number). My mother was getting several calls every day. We have now put a block on all overseas calls, and hopefully this will stop them.

Yes it is Telstra but as usual it's a foreign accent which can be very hard to understand. Just try to be patient with them......I know it's hard, but that's Telstra....they don't make anything easy. In my case they were checking if a previous fault had been satisfactorily completed.
