Caller: Said they were from Pay Pal

Asked about a McAfee payment on my Pay Pal account from an Amex (quoted correct 2 last numbers). Said I need to reset my password. They also had my email address to which they sent SMS link to reset password. I refused. They then sent email with link to reset password. i refused.
I have logged onto paypal and cannot see the McAfee issue

Said they were from PayPal. Asked if I had made two large purchases, one from McAfee and one by a Mark Williams in Germany. None of them I had made and I’m not in that country. Sent me a code from PayPal which I read out then had a feeling something was wrong. Instantly told her to hang on and I checked my PayPal account straight away and couldn’t see either transaction. Hung up on her while I changed my PayPal password and blocked the number she rang from. She had sent me two invoices for the same amounts she mentioned which I reported and deleted. 5 more phone calls came through as I was updating all of my details, each phone number blocked. She gave up after a while, but I did spend the next two hours changing all of my passwords etc.

Called, an asian sounding lady said someone was trying to make multiple transactions on my paypal account, the last being over $400. Was this me? Had my email address, postcode obviously phone number. I started recording the conversation. Said an sms had been sent, with a code. Then said an email had been sent with a code for me to reset my password. Stated I cant check my email while using my phone. Asked her how I know she is not a scammer, stated my shortened name was the full name on my paypal account. This was incorrect. She stated the call was being recorded, I said I am also recording the call. shortly after the call is terminated by her...
