This number calls regularly and after a brief pause I get a recorded "Goodbye" and it disconnects. I choose not to answer with my name anymore and just wait for the caller to introduce themselves. This is a troubling caller.

Drives me crazy. Rings every day, no message.

This mob National No-Call Australia are using vacant phone numbers from all over Australia I spoke to one owner of a phone number who just happens to be a Telstra employee and knows the right strings to pull to have it stopped and traced if he is good to his word

Caller: PRETTY SURE A SCAMMER

Supposedly "Do Not Call Register" They are NOT. After initial conversation was transferred to Supervisor...I questioned which Govt Department they were from and they couldn't give me a reasonable answer. I said I thought this was a scam and they hung up! BEWARE

Number not known to us, no message left on answering machine, so suspect scam caller

Caller: Telemarketer

From "National No-Call Australia", thick, Indian accent offering me a service to block unwanted calls telemarketing calls. They came up with a decade-old address and when I said it sounded like a scam she hung up!

When I ran the number back I was told "the number you have called is not in service". Sound like a scam to me.

Caller: Spammer I think

Got a call from this number - very heavy sub-continet accent, claimed to be from National No-Call Australia, trying to sell me a registration that would block foreign calls spam calls on my number. Yeah, right, a spammer selling me anti-spam. He did have a "smart script" which responded to my responses, so not completely stupid. Beware!
