Another one of those callers about the government rebate for installing a new hot water system. Guy's name was Jason.

Male person with Indian accent. “State Government is offering free hot water……”
I cut him off there. The moment he said ‘state government’ and ‘free’ in the same sentence, I knew he was full of what cats and dogs do on my front lawn (and it isn’t liquid).

Yep numbers are spoofed so they are obviously dodgy. My bloke called and then got flustered and hung up.

Rang l didnt answer and they didnt leave a message but l bet they are the same as phone no. (02) 8415 7037 who claim to be working for the Govt re Solar, guy had an accent and l told him he was a scammer and hung up on him. lm sick of them calling everyday on a different no.

Felt like a scam the way they asked about my hot water service without identifying themselves.
