Yet another scamming pest calling without leaving a message. I'm totally fed up with this plague, especially as my phone doesn't allow me to block hundreds of numbers. Not that blocking the numbers helps much because there are always new numbers, seemingly every single day.
Please don't answer calls, any calls, from unknown numbers, or this will never stop.

Caller: Supposed electricity comparison

Initially listened and compared prices but i refused to give my home number and he was not happy so I terminated the call. Has several calls since from the same number and sounded legit but I refused to change electricity supplier as I was happy with recent rates. I blocked the number but still try to call. I Ignore now.

Same deal as post below and persistent like calling me 5 times in as many hours, problem is she simply talks over you will not answer questions how the hell do they expect to scam somebody when they think they are so superior and no respect, damn trashy low life SKANK! Well HO you are blocked.

Possible scam?

Have received several missed calls on my mobile.
When I’ve rung back few times I get a busy tone.

Answered their call today. Introduced herself as Carol or Karen. Appeared to have an Indian accent and sounded like she was outside as it was windy.
She asked if I knew of the new energy rates from my electricity company. If they’ve sent me the new rates. I said I don’t remember.
I asked her what company she works for. She said she’s an energy broker working for different companies like AGL origin etc. - Didn’t state her employer.
I asked how she got my phone number. She hung up or the call dropped out.

She didn’t call again today. However, I’ve blocked the number anyway.

Unsure where they got my mobile from as it’s silent. Noticed that she didn’t address me by my name so I think they’re just being opportunistic phoning every number?

This is a scam. Beware.

2nd call this morning just hang up don't leave a message so not legit. Thanks to everyone who has established these are scum scammers.

I hate answering machines but I got one specifically to screen these cretins. They never leave a message. Screw 'em.

I have blocked this number but they are still able to call and leave messages on my answering machine last time I had a call from this number they were from some energy company trying to get me a better deal but I already have a better deal from a legit company

This number has called no less than 6 times today (4 times in the last 20 minutes) and they just hang up!?! When I call the number back it is busy.

Several phone calls in one morning, but when I answer they just hang up.
