I called back number (02) 8407 1816 spoke to a guy who did not say for what company and was talking random things about electricity discount.

I get these all the time. No one talks and then hangs up. Am concerned about hacking so hang up if no one talks immediately.
I agree with previous. They should be blocked and I have reported it but no joy.

I've told them twice now that I work in the energy industry, take me off your data base, and they call again anyway.
Then you block the number...but...they'll call from a similar number next week.
This stuff gets tired.

Sales call, have asked them to take me off their list but they still keep calling.

To minimise interruption of ALL unknown numbers, set your default ring to something very minimal, and assign a proper ring tone to all numbers in your contacts. I switched to the bamboo ringtone for the default and this works a treat before you block. Too many numbers need blocking unfortunately.
