Suspected scam call received, which displayed this number on my mobile phone.
A recorded message in a female American accent, supposedly from the Department of Home Affairs, saying that a legal case was being filed in my name because my name was being used for several criminal activities (it didn't specify a name, just said "your name"). "To speak with a representative of the Department of Home Affairs press 1 now." I did not; instead I stayed on the line to see what happened and it hung up from their end. The call was received at 5.20pm on a Tuesday, ie. after business hours.
