I did a quote for Qantas car insurance last night and now two missed calls today. I don't like being chased this much for just doing a comparison quote

Got an online quote after responding to Qantas e-mail offering car insurance. Quote was very pricey so didn't want it, yet within 24 hours Qantas are phoning me 3 times per day trying to get me to buy. Now I ignore the calls

I didn't even finish the quote as I decided the info they wanted on someone else living in the house was needlessly invasive. I definitely did not ask for a return call. They got my number from qantas frequent flyer. Not happy with your partner QANTAS!

I called back the number (02) 8376 7633 and reached vm that said I reached Qantas Insurance

If you do a quote and don't proceed, they will automatically put you on the call list for up to 3 calls. You can call them and ask for them to close off the quote.

I have received 2 calls from this number, a day apart, but never answered the call. I gather from all the comments, it is likely Qantas as I recently completed an online quote for car insurance, which I never pursued.

Sis a free online car insurance quote - went with someone a lot cheaper. They phoned and when I answered it they don't say anything!!! I phoned the number back just to get a message that all Qantas' insurance people are busy. Why call if they don't say anything????

I think it is scam calls. I don't believe he from Paypal, as I login there is not $1800 transaction taken in my ac on he said date.... His varication is getting your personal details.**************************

I did an online quote for car insurance. Didn’t go with Qantas as policy was pricey and terrible terms and conditions. Went with bendigo bank. Anyway Qantas have been calling me for 2 weeks flat out….i have told them no 5 times. For Christ sake let it go
