Caller: RFS Fundraiser I don't normally answer calls not in my contacts but answered. Its the RFS fundraiser for summer. I don't give to charities who cold call as they are generally through a third party who take a large cut of the donations. I just checked the NSW RFS website and saw this: Beware of bogus fundraising or advertising requests As a general policy, the NSW RFS does not seek donations over the telephone.
