Received this text a few days ago and forgot to block it before I was called just then. No message left.

They SMS saying they do survey for Sutherland Council. I told them I charge 25 thousand dollars for information, Yes, I did. I have the right to charge and if they do not like it. then go to...............so I blocked them

I got a text message a couple of days ago on behalf of Strathfield City Council “You've been selected for Strathfield City Council research. We will call from 83582346. For more information Call Micromex on 43522388 or Council on 97489999” now given there’s been no VMs left nor do I even reside in that LGA so won’t be answering considering there was no option to opt out.

So nobody seems to know who this is, I'm just gonna call it, they're a scammer. I called the number and got straight to the voicemail message. It sounded like an English guy but they didn't say who they were or if they're working for anybody

I've received a call every business day for the last week from this number, no messages left. Have to assume it scammers. Have blocked.

Called mobile, rang for 27s , no message left , then called landline, rang for similar time, again no message left
