Caller: scammer fake telephone number

its a fake number, everything suspicious about this caller

Did not say anything when I answered

Caller: Claiming to be from Centrelink was a voice recording

Apparently they had sent emails etc that I needed to update details

Government rebate and free hot water system just needed to know if I had gas or electric… looking at the other comments the number is used for quite a few scams!

Caller: Visa/Mastercard scammer

Robocall said that $500 has been debited from my Visa/Mastercard to pay for an amazon subscription.
If I wanted to stop this I had to press 1.
Knowing it was a scam I pressed 1 to speak to their operator.
A man with an Indian accent started asking me what wanted but hung up as soon as I said that I wanted t cacel the $500 payment.
He must have recognised my number and realised It would be no use trying to scam me.

Last caller from these pests tried to get me to download a Remote Desktop Access (RDA) program called "Anydesk". This seems to be the program of choice for them.
Do not download this program. Ut will give them complete access to your computer and they can take any file they want or put virii, spyware, ransomware on your computer or simply put software that turns it into their bot computer.

If they get access to your computer you may lose your I.D. money bank account or access to various website you use,
Likewise do not go to any website that they want you to visit or download any pdf file that suggest.

Just lead them on until they give up like I do.

This number finally left a message - they are going to cut off my internet and I should press 2. Another stupid scammer - also an american accent. have now blocked the number

Calls several times a day. Never leaves a message. Beyond annoying. Getting blocked now.

No message left. Lots of similar calls today

The NBN are going to disconnect my internet

Degenerate scammers. Super annoying and calling numerous times per day.

Told me they were calling from "Visa and Mastercard", telling me I had $500 payment to "Amazon and eBay". Indian call centre and an obvious scam.

Caller: Recording - Amazon & Ebay Fraud Department

For the past 2 weeks I have been getting 6 to 10 calls a day to our business number with a recording saying that a fraudulent purchase of $500 was made from our amazon and eBay account, press 1 to register for a refund from the fraud department ( or something to that effect ) this is just one of the many numbers they have called from.
