Missed call & no message. Called back and number is disconnected. Must be a scam.

Caller: Claiming to be from Australian National Broadband Network

Automated call asked me to choose option 1 to speak to a technician. A Sri Lankan lady is speaking to me telling me that my IP address has been compromised. Couldn't explain further, I asked for a manager and she hung up. Seems like a scam to me.

"Hello this is Nicole from the NBN Australia... you are going to be cut off. Press 1 to speak to the technical advisor."

So i did to see what would happen... after about 2 mins of silence, there was whole lot of paper rustling and eventually "Anna Wilson" came on the line with a very heavy Indian accent.

Clearly a scam.

Informed my NBN connection is compromised and gave a CLSid that is available on google. Wanted to help me "technically" but i dropped the call as it sounded scam

obviously a scam call as they didn't leave a message on answering M/C. third call today, each from a different number.

Hung up when answered. Called back and number is disconnected.

Nicole from NBN called and said we would without internet as our phone lines were to be disconnected. Thats too funny, we have been here for 30 years and never had a phone line and our internet is satellite as we are OFF GRID. cant stop laughing, i almost wish they would have talked to me so i could have strung them along.,
