Caller: Wise Capital

Continued spam calls from "Wise Capital" claiming I had provided my details to learn more about the markets. When I asked one of them to stop calling me, he got incredibly rude and aggressive.

Caller: Wise Capital (At least that is how they introduce themselves)

Rude and arrogant. Will not listen and continually call from several 02 8 numbers ( dozens of them) and from +44 numbers in the UK I believe.
Will not stop calling. Blocked dozens of their numbers but they just call from a different number.

HOW CAN WE STOP THESE UNWANTED CALLS?

My numbers are on the Do Not Call Register but this does not deter them. I have lodged complaints with Do No Call Register but absolutely no help there? Where does one go next for assistance?

These people seem to have an unlimited number of 02 phone numbers with which to call from.
They claim that I filled in a form requesting investment information/training but could not tell where or when this was supposedly done.
Wreaks of SCAM!
They will not take NO for an answer and can become quite belligerent when you tell them not to call back and to remove you from their calling list. However, I can attest that this does absolutely no good. I block every number of theirs but they just call from a different number.
Can anyone tell me if there is an authority in Australia that can legally force them to stop calling?

Hi all,
I'm the director of Capitalwise (not linked with wise capital). Unfortunately these scammers have used our persona and targeting the public using our name, address and website.
DO NOT ENGAGE as these are scammers.
We are fielding a lot of calls and emails from the public complaining to us (some callers are nicer than others) asking us to stop ringing. I can assure you, it is not us and we are also quite annoyed with the distractions.
We have lodged compliants with Scam Watch, NSW Police and the ACCC. All have advised they are powerless to do anything as it's outside their powers.
I suggest you all lodge a complaint online at scamwatch.gov.au and if enough complaints come in, then they may be forced to do something.
The numbers the scammers call you on are masked voip numbers so are untraceable.

These guys have called me over 50 times now told them to take my name of register etc etc, now i love answering there calls i act like I'm really interested and go along with there bullsh*t and then when they ask for cash i tell them to F@#k themselves, now i time how long i can waist there time.Hahahahah

Scammers repeatedly call from different numbers. Also send emails with ActiveDesk & link. DO NOT DO IT

I copped a call from similar sounding mob last night, kept them on the phone for over 1 1/4 hours dribbling crap and for me, a great time yanking their chain and generally being in hysterics. Very difficult to maintain decorum while taking the piss. Might just have to contact the real company and let them know.

They keep calling you several times a day and it continues over a few months.

They knew my name and they said they are calling from wise capital. I answered not interested and where they get my personal details and they said that I submitted my details to get their education program on investment.... at first I was really nice and polite to ask them remove my details and stop calling me, but the staff was really rude, both the man and the lady will ignore what you say and raise their voice to force you listening their education..... even they make you feeling you’re the person who doing the wrong thing.... anyway, block many times and they use different phone numbers.... only way is hang up the phone to end up their rude and weird scam games.they are totally sh*t

I asked them to take my number off their call list and they ignored me and kept pressing me about active trading. I asked them politely again and they said I should be more careful with my personal details. Then I told them to go f*** themselves.

I am fed up with being constantly called (often several times a day/week), by "private and unlisted numbers". I never answer those callers because if they are "private", what do they have to hide?? Don't answer "unlisted numbers", either, though occasionally I will call the unlisted ones, on the off chance I know the person, but the response is "this number has been disconnected". The last call I just received, "she" knew my name, and when I asked who "she" was, the answer "Wise Capital", I promptly said "not interested, don't call me", and hung up. I have blocked the above-mentioned calls countless times, but they still get through the so called blocking system. Why should anyone have to change their phone number, eventually they will start pestering you on the new one, and it's an inconvenience having to notify everyone who has had your number for years, e.g. relatives, friends, drs, dentists, banks, etc, etc. OVER IT!

an Indian sounding man calling himself "Richard Simmons" of all names took over the call from his lesser who began the first call with this amazing opportunity to make money trading online shortly after being educated by my personal "mentor";and @ 10% payment of US $50 I'd be upgraded to "The Platinum Package"(selling for US$599!using code z50)These guys are unbelievable,unscrupulous,doggard and crooks

Its called wise capital calls me on average 6 times a day on (02) 8775 1270 or on private number i answer if I say nothing they hang up when I do speak they offer crypto currency trading I never signed up to this the amount of times to be asked to be removed from list there is laughter ^thats not my job to remove from there list^ alot of noise in background sounds like scam cant call number back as its non existing

They have been calling me day and night for over a month. I have requested over and over again that they stop calling me and they just laugh. I have blocked their number every single time they call but they just call from a different number. I have registered my number with the do not call list and have lodged a complaint with the do not call list. I was told that these calls should stop within 30 days. I sure hope so. This is definitely a scam.
