This call came in, I didn't answer it as I don't recognise the number and they didn't leave a message. I am involved with NDIS as a consumer, but if a legitimate caller doesn't leave a message, I am not inclined to call them back.

Caller: NDIA This was NDIA calling to rectify a clerical error from a couple of years ago. The caller gave me a reference number and to call back on the call centre inbound number of 1800 800 110. Completely legitimate.

This is a fraud NDIS company, contacting NDIS clients and asking to move to their company. They are from Unity Care NSW. These people are indian's . Pretty sure they are having contacts in NDIS and so getting all details and calling them. FRAUD

Caller: NDIS Confirmed this is a legitimate NDIS call centre number.
I was speaking to an operator via the 1800 800 110 number, the call dropped out and the same operator called me straight back on this number.

Caller: iSelect Legit. But unwarranted. I did a pet insurance comparison quote 4 months ago. They keep calling even though I told them I actually don’t want to pursue and I’m terminating with Bupa pet insurance as it’s ridiculous. They keep putting my premiums up and it’s not a regulated industry unlike human insurance.
Please stop calling me back.

Notification 30 January 2018 We encourage participants to be aware of potential scams with people claiming to be from the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) attempting to collect personal details via telephone, email or social media.
We contact people by phone for the purpose of completing a verbal access request to become a participant in the NDIS.
If this occurs, the NDIA will ask for certain personal information over the phone, but will only request this information after explaining the purpose of asking for it and seeking your consent to proceed.
If you are already a participant in the NDIS, the NDIA may contact you directly by phone or email to advise you that we required additional information or to update our records. In these instances we will explain the purpose of asking for this information and ask that you either:
Visit your nearest NDIA, Local Area Coordinator or Early Childhood Early Intervention Partner office Contact the 1800 800 110 number We will never require you to provide personal information or threaten to cancel your NDIS plan unless you provide personal details by phone. If you are unsure about whether a person calling you is from the NDIA, you can ask for their name and number and call the Agency back.
If you believe it is a scam please report it to fraudprevention @ ndis.gov.au (link sends e-mail), your local NDIA contact or call 1800 800 110. They will be able to confirm whether the caller was from the NDIA.

NDIS wouldn’t phone me because they know I’m deaf. Normally they sent me text or email with all their names details- that way I can check with my support coordinator if they’re real. Should be on cautious by not giving any information out. So yeah this number must be scammers.. thanks for the tips from others here.

Caller: Geoff Called by Geoff -GF0022-conducting NDIS survey and he left 1800 800 110 afterI refused to supply personal identification details. In turn, I called this 1800 number which i was told is a legitimate NDIS NATIONAL survey CONTACT NUMBER and was informed that the call was From that of an authorised survey and that the call was logged in 🔍! That being the case, I didn’t call back because I don’t like surgery or surveys unless I’m conducting them❗️

Caller: NDIS I do get lots of '02' area code numbers that are overseas, but this one is actually NDIS, who I deal with regularly. Although the recorded message is sketchy, I did end up speaking with an Aussie, who was able to confirm details on NDIS records.

The (02) 8331 4419 appears to be an NDIS number however when the call came through I could see the call was diverted from a mobile number. Unfortunately I didnt get the mobile number. It all seems a bit odd because the NDIS office is closed for Christmas / New Year break

Caller: NDIA This is a legitimate number. Received a call from this number & spoke to the caller. Checked this site afterwards & worried all night. Rang the NDIA on their 1800 number which I found on their government website. They checked their call log for our account & confirmed that they had called us & that the info given to me by the caller was all correct.
