Caller: Unknown person Recorded message stated it was the Kantar Research Call Centre. Never heard of them and no reason for them to be calling me

I just ignore and often block numbers I don’t know. Every contact I have has a name with their number. If it is someone I know calling from a different phone, they know to leave a message. Being on the No-call register is a waste of time, so this way is my only option.

Seeking confirmation that I had requested transfer of $900+ dollars to Amazon for an order (I hadn’t). Asked me to press 1 if not. The (female) caller (sounded like a recorded message) immediately hung up.
