I just received a call from this number... and all i got was silence on the other side before they hung up on me.

As soon as I answered they hung up

Called me, immediately hung up.

Rang and hung up. So I blocked the number

Called twice and then hung up both times.

Called me without solicitation. No message left but looking at other entries on this site for this number, it seems clearly a bunch of "corksuckers", if you take my meaning! I subsequently blocked their number. Never call back unsolicited callers. Don't empower these dimwits by showing that your number is active: you may end up with more nuisance calls if you call any unsolicited caller back (just like people who unsubscribe from spam emails may end up with more emails because replying to spam emails shows spammers that your email address is in use).

Called by this number today

Didn't answer because I suspected it was the same people that had been calling me from a private number and not saying anything upon answering.

Called me said it was a simple survey,I said No thanks and hung up.

Keeps calling never leaves a message

Silly woman who didn't listen to me when I said I don't answer questions on the phone. She just kept talking! Blocked! Don't give these people any info.How they got my number which is silent I do not know!

Have had 3 calls now from whoever this is. They never leave a message. Now blocked.

4 missed calls in 3 weeks -called back but their message bank was full ! Have now have put auto reject on the number !

got frequent calls from this number, most i couldnt answer since i was in class but when i could actually answer it they hung up immediately. i answered the next time they called again to the same response. clearly an unimportant caller so i blocked them

Caller: Survey company

Was a foreign woman asking for a survey. Asked what state I was in (NSW) and said "lots of nice people there", asked if I owned or rent a house (lived with parents) and told me I was lucky, then thanked me for my time, wished me well and hung up. I think I said the word 'yes' out of reflex. Getting scared now. What should I do?

They are persistent . They ring me weekly

Female voice asking to do a survey. Seeking personal information like DOB and full name. Don’t answer questions, hang-up and block number. They will constantly call back.

Caller: Market research/Insurance Company

Positioned as market research but after a few questions it became clear the questions only relate to insurance, income protection, retirement planning, financial advice/planning, life insurance. At the end they say they will contact you and they also want your email address. They don't tell you the name of the company.
