Caller: Claimed to be Commonwealth Bank

A scam robotic message claiming to be the Commonwealth Bank about a transfer from my account.

Didn’t recognise the number so I let it ring out. Of course, no message left. Probably a scammer. Oh well, another number added to my blocked list

No message left but came up on Truecaller app as a "Chinese scam"

Caller: Immigration department

Unlikely to be Immigration Department. I very much doubt they would leave computer generated message.

Recorded message in Chinese-accented English, claiming to be the Immigration Department. I ended the call at that point.

Claimed an urgent academic emergency! Cleary a scam call. Blocked

Call ran out. Hiya indicates Potential Fraud.
Added to block list.

And even if you did buy stuff from Amazon, they sure as hell don't call you up to tell you they are going to take money. I'd laugh, but sadly people fall for this sh*t.

All my unknown calls go to Voicemail.

Voicemail stated that there was an "academic emergency".

Two language options provided were for: 1) for Australian students or 2) for Chinese students.

Displayed Potential Fraud, then a voice message was left saying - Hello academic emergency notice. For Australian nationality press1. If you are Chinese or international student press 2. Number blocked

Chinese scam

They need to update the message that pages when you call back about your "academic" problem. They clearly what no clue what they are doing. Apparently the number connects to "all class doors" and that they sell "high quality electronics". Look like they need to press 2 for "Chinese"

Received call from this number but I did not pick up. They did not leave a message, most likely scam.

"This is an important call from Amazon" going to take a payment of $99.00 from my bank account. I don't have anything to do with Amazon
