Caller: True capital pro Keeps calling and saying I have enrolled in a financial course through them. Couldn't give details about the course or my email address. Just kept telling him to f$$# off but he kept talking. Hung up and he called back straight away.

Caller: +64218087007 Called about True Capital Pro London (https://truecapitalpro.com). This is the same as another caller. This was a call to New Zealand.
After I hung up they called back on +64 21 213 3480. So they're using a bunch of different numbers.
Same as the other reference: They can teach me how to make money through their platform (trading in international shares). They said that they are not a broker, but a financial markets education provider. They will make 2-3% commission when you make a profit (if you make a profit).
They implied that their software would validate a trade and based on the trade I would pay 2-3% commission as deducted from my NZ bank account. The only way I can see that working is I provide a blanket authorization for True Capital Pro to withdraw arbitrary amounts from my account.
The scam can't really lose. If I make money on my trades based on their software, they get a commission. If I don't make money on my trades, they don't make any money.
It doesn't really matter how good or bad the software is, they'll eventually make money if over time some trades do make money.
For example, let's say I make 10 trades. 5 trades make $100. I pay a commission of $3. 5 trades lose me $1000. I pay no commission on those trades. So I've made a total loss of $900, but paid them $3. It's like gambling. The house will always make money.
Since they don't have a NZ presence, there's no way to legally deal with them under NZ law.
Not worth it.

Caller: truecapitalpro Call centre in Philippines called me and told me that they can teach me how to make money through their platform (trading in international shares). Website is here: https://truecapitalpro.com/ and you can see that it is all rubbish.
I got annoyed and they passed me to a "supervisor" who is supposedly the head of investments and he asked me to speak nicely. I told him I will only spend time talking to him if he makes more money than I do.
I asked him where his office is and he said that he is in Sydney. I asked him for the address and he stumbled.
Long story short, these guys uses voice over IP to randomly generate phone numbers letting unsuspecting Australians think they are investing in something local and legit.
More time I spend talking to them means less time they will spend on calling unsuspecting people.
