Number kept ringing I did not recognise the number, I let the answering machine answer, but no message left!

Rang at 6:58pm. Checked the number afterwards and glad I didn't pick it up

Caller: DTMF Enabled auto answer machine

Something about Press 1 if you are interested in Tax rebate plan. Just left it on speaker and mute mic. Auto hang up after asking twice. Then the same number called my wife a few minutes later...

Rang at 6:55pm. Checked the number glad I didn't pick it up

Caller: Possibly a Senator?

Had two calls from this number on my mobile over the week. I answered the second one but got just a beep so hung up, then afterwards got message to say it was Jim Molan, NSW Senator, sorry you're not home this evening.

Said it was a call from parliament house in Canberra. It was senator jim molan and asked to stay on the line for a live chat. Just hung up

Got a call from 02.83173687 at 7pm to my mobile phone tonight. Did not recognise the number and was no Caller ID so I did not answer. No message was left. Now have discovered thru Reverse Austalia there have been complaints about this telemarketing caller!! I am on the Do NOT Call register.

Said it was a research company. Automated. Called me 5 times yesterday. When I tried to hang up I couldn’t. Tied up my phone until the exchange automatically hung up fescues I wasn’t responding
